Micah has led the way in pushing for increased rigor in our schools by advocating for additional IB programs and vocational training opportunities. He has been a strong advocate for expanded childcare programs, increased technology funding, career counseling for student-athletes, and a safe learning environment for all students and teachers. Under Micah’s leadership the district has:
- Improved Test Scores and Increased the Graduation Rate
- Lowered the Expulsion Rate for Black Students
- Provided Every Student with a Chromebook
- Created Career Pathways and Increased Vocational Training
- Invested in School and Facilities Upgrades
- Prioritized Health and Safety for All
