During the April 24 NUSD Board Meeting, I spoke about a series of bills making their way through the Legislature that could have significant impacts on charter schools.
The latest effort against charters schools comes in the form of Senate Bill 756, which would put a 4-year moratorium on charter schools across California. I absolutely oppose this bill and have co-authored a letter with Trustee Jag Bains to members of the Senate Education Committee stating my opposition.
