Sacramento – Candidate for Natomas Unified School Board Micah Grant today announced the endorsement of Inderkum Junior Varsity Head Football Coach Terrance Leonard.
“Micah is a former Division I athlete who understands the importance of athletic programs and the role they play in student learning,” said Leonard. “Strong athletic programs are part of a complete educational experience and can be very empowering. Micah understands this and he has my support.”
Leonard is a longtime football coach who has been involved in the Natomas athletic community for nearly a decade. His TMP Elite program has sent countless student-athletes to Division I programs, including Pac-12 and Big Ten Schools.
“I know firsthand the pressures student-athletes face and want to make sure they’re supported on and off the field,” said Grant. “We should do everything possible to make sure our student-athletes can be successful and reach their academic and athletic goals.”
