Sacramento – Candidate for Natomas Unified School Board Micah Grant today announced the endorsements of Robla Unified School Board President Craig Deluz and Robla Unified School Board Member Ken Barnes.

“Micah’s policy background and personal experience will make him a great addition to the board,” said Deluz. “He understands the obstacles that impede student learning and will help break down those barriers so that every child can receive a world-class education.”

Robla Unified School Board Member Ken Barnes added: “My friend Micah cares deeply about his community and is dedicated to the needs of students and parents in Natomas.”

Deluz has also worked as a Legislative Director in the California State Assembly and serves as the Northern Regional Vice Chairman for the Coalition of Black School Board Members. Barnes currently serves as the Internship Program Coordinator for U.C. Davis’ government, law, legal and for-profit companies, as well as manager of the Community Service Resource Center.

“Craig and Ken are very active in the community and have done great work to promote education equality in the Greater Sacramento Area,” said Grant. “It’s an honor to have their support.”
